29.03.2008: We have just returned from our trip to Prague. As usually, we'll round up our impressions in a Report, which shall be posted in the next few days.

07.03.2008: We have added a new feature to the Guide - the Top 5s. You can read our first pick of bookstores in the "Impressive Appearance" category. Feel free to comment.

01.02.2008: We are going to Budapest at the beginning of next week. We have discovered many (potential) Bookstore Guide candidates and we'll make sure to check them out and add them to our guide. Expect a report from Budapest soon!

10.01.2008: A report from the trip to Poland has already been posted, we also decided to add a new section to bsg, called simply Reports. We plan to visit several European cities during this year and we'll definitely make a stop at each of the bookstores listed in our guide and we'll also try to discover some new bsg candidates. The Reports section is meant to help you keep track of our travels.

Hello! We are Sonja and Ivan. And this is our Bookstore Guide. The idea of writing a guide to bookstores all around Europe was conceived while we were on a vacation in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Having a passion for reading and traveling, we have encountered various bookstores throughout Europe and thus have decided to make this blog and write about our findings.
