Where? Barcelona, Spain

Come In is a bookstore with resources for students and teachers of the English language. They stock children's audiovisual materials, various English courses (business, medical, general) and books to prepare for your ESOL exams, as well as a good selection of bestsellers.

Founded almost twenty-five years ago (in 1984), Come In - one of Barcelona’s English Bookstores - represents an inescapable reference for any person or firm related to English language learning in Barcelona. Their customers have a special interest in the English language, not only in the areas of teaching and learning but also in the field of classical and contemporary literature. Come In also has a large and colorful children's section to satisfy the needs of anyone, regardless of their age.

Come In is one of those bookstores where almost every teacher or student (and not just those of the English language) in Barcelona and its surroundings has heard about or even has dropped by to Come In in search for a needed book. Furthermore, many public figures, such as writers, actors, musicians, cinema and theater directors, politicians, journalists, etc. have visited this bookstore from time to time.

In the past few years, they've also opened 2 more locations, one in Palma de Mallorca and the other in Terrassa.

We loved visiting this bookstore during out 5-week stay in Barcelona. It is a wonderful place to stop with your kids for a bit of a rest, both physically and mentally.

Their collection is surprisingly deep and satifying for the size of the store. A real treasure, especially for visitors who do not read Spanish or Catalan.
